  4. INTRODUCTION

  6. Awhile back I wrote a little program PUSHBU.PRG to produce pushbuttons with
  7. pop-out action and a number of people (including myself) have used them
  8. without any compaints.  Nonetheless, PUSHBU.PRG was really never properly 
  9. integrated into the Get System, mainly because of the way it handled 
  10. the waitstate.
  11.  
  12. Meanwhile, another public domain offering by Dan Comeau (RADIOBTN.PRG) is
  13. well integrated with the get system, but does not include any push buttons,
  14. and if you're not already using RADIOBTN.PRG you may wish to take a look
  15. at it.  Anyway, to make a long story shorter, I finally have gotten around
  16. to putting my push buttons into a modified version of Dan's button engine.

  18. The buttons seems to work well based on the way I routinely use them; 
  19. however, no one else has tested them, so let me know if you find any bugs.  
  20. All testing of PUSHBUTN.PRG has been done with Clipper 5.01a and RTLINK.

  22. Also, in the not too distant future I'll put out an upgrade which
  23. includes monochrome buttons, VALID, 5.2 testing, and whatever else I can
  24. think of, and maybe FT mouse support.  BTW, the monochrome routine is
  25. included, it just isn't connected...so if someone would like to save me
  26. a little work please feel free to have at it.
